Abstract
(EN)
An impact-resistant methacrylic resin which is more versatile from the industrial viewpoint, has weather resistance and surface gloss inherent therein and, if necessary, can maintain excellent properties such as transparency, and has an excellent impact resistance. The resin comprises (A) a partially hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer having a percentage hydrogenation of 20 to 70 %, and (B) a methacrylic copolymer comprising 80 to 99.9 % by weight of methyl methacrylate and 0.1 to 20 % by weight of other vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith and has a toluene-insolubles content of 0.5 to 50 % by weight and a degree of swelling with toluene of 2 to 12.

L'invention concerne une résine méthacrylique à haute résistance aux chocs, qui est plus adaptable aux différentes utilisations industrielles et qui a une bonne résistance aux intempéries et une surface bien brillante. La résine a une excellente résistance aux chocs et elle peut être réalisée pour avoir une bonne transparence. La résine est constituée (A) d'un polymère de diènes conjugués partiellement hydrogéné avec un pourcentage d'hydrogénation de 20 à 70 % et (B) d'un copolymère méthacrylique contenant de 80 à 99,9 % en poids de méthacrylate de méthyle et de 0,1 à 20 % en poids d'un autre monomère vinylique copolymérisable avec le méthacrylate de méthyle. La résine a une teneur en matières insolubles dans le toluène allant de 0,5 à 50 % en poids et elle présente un degré de gonflement dans le toluène de 2 à 12.
