Abstract

A milk frothing system is provided whereby milk is first frothed by controlled introduction of air, and then heated by circulation in a conduit (46) which passes through a hot water tank (30). Milk initially is drawn into a milk frother (44) from a cold milk supply (MJ), such milk supply preferably being replaceably housed in an onboard refrigerator. Once frothed, milk is directed through a frothed milk conduit (46), passing through an ambient pressure hot water tank (30) so as to heat the frothed milk. An espresso water conduit (60) similarly may be connected to a water supply (32), such espresso water conduit passing water through the hot water tank so as to heat the water. The heated water is passed through espresso grounds to produce espresso which is discharged through an espresso discharge nozzle (24a). The hot frothed milk is passed directly through a milk discharge nozzle (26) for use in making a beverage such as cappuccino or the like.

L'invention concerne un système pour faire mousser du lait, dans lequel on fait d'abord mousser le lait par une introduction contrôlée d'air, puis on le chauffe par circulation dans une conduite (46) qui traverse un réservoir (30) d'eau chaude. Le lait est amené d'abord au dispositif (44) pour le faire mousser depuis une réserve de lait froid (MJ), cette réserve de lait froid étant de préférence, logée d'une manière amovible dans un réfrigérateur incorporé. Une fois la mousse formée, le lait emprunte une conduite (46) à lait mousseux traversant un réservoir (30) d'eau chaude sous pression atmosphérique pour chauffer le lait mousseux. Une conduite d'eau du type expresso (60) peut être reliée de manière similaire à une alimentation en eau (32), cette conduite d'eau du type expresso traversant le réservoir d'eau chaude pour chauffer l'eau. L'eau chauffée est passée à travers du café moulu du type expresso pour produire un café du type expresso qui est évacué par une buse (24a) prévue à cet effet. Le lait chaud mousseux arrive directement par une buse (26) pour le lait, et on obtient ainsi une boisson du type cappuccino ou similaire.
