A uniformly luminous EL sheet diaphragm and a lighted switch which is of a thin structure, provided with the EL sheet diaphragm, and used in input operating sections of various kinds of electronic devices are disclosed. A diffusion EL sheet comprises a transparent electrode (4) formed on a transparent film (3), a light emitting layer (5), a dielectric layer (6), a rear electrode layer (7) and an insulating layer (8). The EL sheet is formed so that the light emitting side is convex, thus fabricating a diaphragm part (2). A thin switch is produced by forming an electrode contact layer (9) on the insulating layer (8) on the concave side of the diaphragm (2) and an opposed electrode contact layer (11) on an insulating film base (10) opposing the layer (9). The tranparent electrode layer (4) is formed by printing and drying paste prepared by dispersing conductive powder having a visible light transmittance in an insulating resin. A high dielectric constant and flexible resin selected from vinylidene fluoride rubber, and a resin prepared by blending cyanated pullulan or cyanated cellulose and cyanated polyvinyl alcohol is used as the binder resin for the light emitting layer (5) and the dielectric layer (6). Therefore light emission failure due to wire disconnection in the diaphragm part (2) is prevented, providing a high quality EL sheet diaphragm and a switch using the diaphragm.

Cette invention concerne une membrane en feuille électroluminescente (EL) uniformément lumineuse et un commutateur éclairé de faible épaisseur équipé de la membrane en feuille El, utilisés dans des parties d'actionnement d'entrée de divers types de dispositifs électroniques. Une feuille EL de diffusion comprend une électrode transparente (4) formée sur un film transparent (3), une couche (5) émettant de la lumière, une couche diélectrique (6), une couche d'électrode arrière (7) et une couche isolante (8). La feuille EL est formée de telle sorte que le côté émettant de la lumière soit convexe de manière à constituer une partie de membrane (2). On crée un commutateur mince en formant une couche de contact (9) d'électrode sur la couche isolante (8) du côté concave de la membrane (2) et une couche de contact opposée (11) d'électrode sur la base (10) du film isolant opposé à la couche (9). La couche d'électrode transparente (4) est formée par impression et séchage d'une pâte préparée par dispersion d'une poudre conductrice laissant passer la lumière visible dans une résine isolante. On utilise en tant que résine de liaison pour la couche émettant de la lumière (5) et la couche diélectrique (6) une résine souple à forte constante diélectrique sélectionnée entre un caoutchouc au fluorure de vinylidène et une résine formée d'un mélange de pullulan cyanaté ou de cellulose cyanatée avec de l'alcool polyvinylique cyanaté. On évite ainsi les défaillances d'émission de lumière provoquées par la déconnexion des fils dans la partie de membrane (2) lorsqu'on utilise une membrane en feuille EL de haute qualité et un commutateur comprenant cette dernière.
