Abstract

A piano having electronic sound sources, which is played with a touch as if it were an acoustic piano. At step S100, the speed of a key (5) is detected by key sensors (33) and (35). At step (110), the key striking force is obtained by converting the key speed in accordance with a conversion table representing a touch curve stored in a ROM (43). At step S120, a sound is generated from a speaker by controlling an electronic sound source (9) and an amplifier (11) on the basis of the converted key striking force. This key striking force is data representing a sound volume. However, the conversion table in this embodiment is set beforehand in such a manner that the sound volume becomes equal to the sound volume of an acoustic piano even when an electronic piano is played with a touch of an acoustic piano. Therefore, performance can be made without the sense of incompatibility.

Piano comprenant des sources sonores électroniques sur lequel on joue au moyen d'une touche comme s'il s'agissait d'un piano acoustique. A l'étape S100, la vitesse de la touche (5) est détectée par les détecteurs (33) et (35) de touches. A l'étape (110) la force de frappe des touches résulte de la conversion de la vitesse de la touche suivant une table de conversion représentant une courbe de toucher stockée dans une mémoire morte (43). A l'étape S120, un son est généré par un haut-parleur par la commande d'une source sonore électronique (9) et d'un amplificateur (11) sur la base de la force de frappe des touches convertie. Cette force de frappe des touches est une donnée représentant un volume sonore. Dans cette forme de réalisation, la table de conversion est cependant établie d'avance de telle sorte que le volume sonore soit équivalent au volume sonore d'un piano acoustique même lorsqu'on joue sur un piano électronique avec une touche d'un piano acoustique. On peut ainsi jouer sur ce piano sans ressentir d'incompatibilité.
