Die in biologisch abbaubaren Polyurethanestern eingesetzten Diolkomponenten mit der Struktur einer Polyhydroxybuttersäure oder mit einer ähnlichen Struktur ließen sich bisher nur durch komplizierte mehrstufige Synthesewege herstellen. Das neue Verfahren soll mit Diolkomponenten als Einsatzstoff durchgeführt werden, die mit Hilfe einfacher technisch leicht zugänglicher Ausgangsprodukte in einem einzigen Syntheseschritt herstellbar sind. Es wird ein polymerer Ester mit beiderseits endständigen Hydroxylgruppen eingesetzt, der durch Copolymerisation von Alkylenoxiden mit 2 oder 3 C-Atomen und Kohlenmonoxid hergestellt wird. Die Ausbeute liegt bei 80 bis 85 %. Die Polyurethanester dienen als Werkstoff für biologisch abbaubare Halbzeuge, Formteile oder Beschichtungen durch thermoplastische Umformung.

So far it has only been possible to prepare the diols, with a polyhydroxybutyric acid or similar structure, used in the production of biodegradable polyesters by complicated multistage syntheses. The aim of the invention is to carry out the method using diols which can be produced from simple, readily available starting products in a single-stage synthesis. This is achieved by using a polymeric ester with terminal hydroxy groups at each end and which is produced by copolymerizing alkylene oxides having 2 or 3 C-atoms with carbon monoxide. The yield is 80 to 85 %. The polyurethane esters obtained are suitable for use in the production of biodegradable semifinished products, mouldings or coatings by thermoplastic working.

Jusqu'à présent, les composés diols ayant la structure d'un acide butyrique de polyhydroxy ou une structure similaire et utilisés dans les esters de polyuréthane biodégradables ne s'obtenaient que par des synthèses complexes de plusieurs étapes. Cette nouvelle méthode fait intervenir des composants diols obtenus par une technique simple, à partir de produits courants et en une synthèse d'une seule étape. On utilise un ester de polymère doté, à chaque fin de chaîne, d'un groupe hydroxyle obtenu par copolymérisation d'oxydes d'alkylène de 2 ou 3 atomes C et de monoxyde de carbone. Le rendement se situe entre 80 et 85 %. Les esters polyuréthaniques servent de matières premières dans la production de produits semi-finis, de pièces moulées ou de revêtements biodégradables par transformation thermoplastique.
