Abstract
(EN) The present invention relates to various methods, such as an above-ground method and an in-ground method, of using a palladized iron bimetallic system for the dechlorination of chlorinated organic compounds from effluents containing the same. The use of palladized iron bimetallic system results in the dechlorination of the chlorinated organic compound into environmentally safe reaction products. The present invention also provides kits, devices, and other instruments that use the above-mentioned palladized iron bimetallic system for the dechlorination of chlorinated organic compounds.
(FR) La présente invention concerne divers procédés, souterrains ou en surface, mettant en oeuvre un système bimétallique de fer palladisé pour la déchloration de composés organiques chlorés provenant d'effluents contenant cette substance. L'emploi d'un système bimétallique de fer palladisé permet de déchlorer les composés organiques chlorés sans créer de produits de réaction qui soient nocifs pour l'environnement. La présente invention concerne également des trousses, des dispositifs et d'autres instruments faisant appel au système bimétallique de fer palladisé susmentionné pour la déchloration de composés organiques chlorés.
