(EN)In the portions of a program region and a recording region which are in a boundary between these two regions, buffering regions in which effective data do not exist are provided. These buffering regions are determined as access inhibited regions, to/from which neither recording nor reproduction is carried out. Accordingly, the oscillation of a tracking servo which is liable to occur when an optical spot passes the boundary between the program region and recording region is minimized. This enables a constantly stable operation of the tracking servo to be attained, and the temporary omission of information signals to be prevented.
(FR)Selon la présente invention, des zones tampons sont ménagées à la limite entre la zone programme et la zone enregistrement, aucune donnée n'existant effectivement dans cette zone tampon. Ces zones tampons étant configurées comme zones à restriction d'accès, il n'est possible ni d'y enregistrer des données, ni de reproduire des données à partir d'elles. Cette configuration minimise les effets des vibrations d'un servomécanisme de guidage pouvant se produire lorsque le point optique franchit la limite entre zone programme et zone enregistrement. Cela permet un fonctionnement constant et stable du servomécanisme de guidage, et évite les pertes temporaires de signaux de données.
