Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren sowie eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens zum Darstellen von stereoskopischen Videobildern beobachteter Szenen auf einem Monitor (11). Das Verfahren vermeidet unphysiologische Erscheinungen am Monitor (11) in Bildbereichen entfernt von der Konvergenzebene (19) durch Schaffung eines Austastbereiches, in dem die entsprechenden Bildbereiche abgewandelt dargestellt werden. Dem Benutzer erleichtert dies vor allem das längere Arbeiten an solchen Monitoren (11), insbesondere aber auch an Videostereomikroskopen.

The invention concerns a method and device for displaying, on a monitor (11), stereoscopic video images of observed scenes. The method avoids unphysiological apparitions on the monitor (11) in image areas which are remote from the convergence plane (19) by creating a blanked-out area in which the relevant image areas are displayed differently. The invention makes it easier for users to work for lengthy periods on such monitors (11) and in particular on video stereomicroscopes.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif d'affichage d'images vidéo stéréoscopiques de scènes observées, sur un écran (11). Ce procédé permet d'éviter l'apparition de phénomènes non physiologiques sur l'écran (11) dans les zones d'image éloignées du plan de convergence (19), en créant une zone de suppression dans laquelle les zones d'images appropriées sont affichées en étant modifiées. Ceci facilite le travail prolongé de l'utilisateur devant ce type d'écran (11), en particulier en cas d'utilisation de stéréomicroscopes vidéo.
