Inputted audio signals are compressed and encoded by a speech encoder (3), sent to an RF transmission processor (4), subjected to channel encoding, modulation and transmission processing, and transmitted through an antenna (11). Signals received by the antenna (11) are subjected to reception processing, demodulation and channel decoding by an RF reception processor (5), and expanded and decoded by a speech decoder (6). A recording/reproduction controller (8) controls the writing of the signals from the speech encoder (3) into a semiconductor memory (7) and the readout of the signals from the memory (7) to the speech decoder (6). Therefore, the memory (7) can be efficiently utilized for two-way/one-way communication without increasing the circuit constitution.

Les signaux audio d'entrée sont comprimés et codés par un codeur de phonie (3), envoyés à un processeur d'émission en RF (4), soumis à un codage canal, un traitement de modulation et d'émission, avant d'être transmis par une antenne (11). Les signaux reçus par l'antenne (11) sont soumis à un traitement de réception, de démodulation et de décodage canal par un processeur de réception RF (5), avant d'être developpés et décodés par un décodeur de phonie (6). Un régisseur enregistrement/reproduction contrôle l'écriture des signaux à partir du codeur phonie (3) dans une mémoire à semi-conducteurs (7) ainsi que la lecture des signaux à partir de cette mémoire (7) en direction du décodeur de phonie (6). Selon ce procédé, la mémoire (7) peut être utlisée de manière efficace pour une communication à deux ou une voie sans accroître la constitution du circuit.
