The invention relates to an electrode for the $i(in vivo) detection of nitrogen monoxide and derivatives thereof, a detection sensor comprising such electrode and a detection method. The aim of the invention is to detect very small amounts of NO without being affected by interference from other ions present in the medium. This aim is reached by means of an electrode comprising an electrically conducting support (3) coated with a film of electronically conducting polymer (9) doped by mixed heteropolyanions having one of the formulae: [MIIIX1W11O39(H2O)]n- or [MIIIX2W17O61(H2O)]7-, wherein M is Fe, Rh, Al, Ga, In or Tl; X1 is P or As and n equals 4; X1 is Si or Ge and n equals 5; or X1 is B and n equals 6; and X2 is P or As. The film (9) is coated with an anionic polymer (11) selected amongst sulfonated polyamide, sulfonate polystyrene or perfluorinated polysulfonate.

L'invention concerne une électrode de détection $i(in vivo) du monoxyde d'azote et de ses dérivés, un capteur de détection comprenant une telle électrode et un procédé de détection. Le but de l'invention est de pouvoir détecter de très faibles quantités de NO sans subir les interférences d'autres ions présents dans le milieu. Ce but est atteint à l'aide d'une électrode comprenant un support électriquement conducteur (3) recouvert d'un film de polymère conducteur électronique (9) dopé par des hétéropolyanions mixtes répondant à l'une des formules: [MIIIX1W11O39(H2O)]n- ou [MIIIX2W17O61(H2O)]7-, dans lesquelles M représente Fe, Rh, Al, Ga, In ou T1, X1 représente P ou As et n est égal à 4, X1 représente Si ou Ge et n est égal à 5, ou X1 représente B et n est égal à 6, X2 représente P ou As, ce film (9) étant recouvert d'un polymère anionique (11) choisi parmi la polyamide sulfonée, le polystyrène sulfonate ou le polysulfonate perfluoré.
