Abstract
(EN)
A multi-source electronic lighting device for use as a signal or illuminator. Light is created by a plurality light emitting diode elements which are encapsulated in a light transmitting medium. A curved cylindrical lens is contoured to cooperate with the location of the light emitting diode elements to create a composite light beam with a controlled beam pattern which is elongated in a defined plane. The intensity of the projected light beam is maximized through the efficient collection of created light.

Dispositif électronique d'éclairage à source multiple servant de signal ou d'indicateur lumineux. La lumière est générée par une série de diodes électroluminescentes qui sont enrobées dans un milieu translucide (21). Une lentille cylindrique courbe (1) est profilée de manière à coopérer avec l'emplacement des diodes électroluminescentes afin de générer un faisceau lumineux composite présentant une configuration de faisceau modulée qui revêt une forme allongée selon un plan défini. L'intensité du faisceau lumineux projeté est porté à son maximum grâce à une collecte efficace de la lumière générée.
