This disclosure presents the establishment of new cell lines from $i(Trichoplusia ni) eggs, in a commercial serum-free medium. These new cell lines were screened with wild-type $i(Autographa californica) multiple nuclear polyhedrosis virus (AcMNPV) and $i(Trichoplusia ni) single nuclear polyhedrosis virus (TnSNPV). In addition, selected cell lines from the initial screenings with the native baculoviruses, were further tested for their capacity to express recombinant proteins.

Cette invention concerne l'établissement de nouvelles lignées cellulaires à partir des ÷ufs de $i(Trichoplusia ni) dans un milieu exempt de sérum commercial. Ces nouvelles lignées cellulaires ont été criblées par le virus polyhédrique nucléaire multiple $i(Autographa california) de phénotype sauvage (AcMNPV) et le virus polyhédrique nucléaire simple $i(Trichoplusia ni) (TnBNPV). De plus, les lignées cellulaires sélectionnées à partir des criblages initiaux avec les baculovirus natifs ont ensuite été testées pour leur capacité à exprimer des protéines de recombinaison.
