Abstract
(EN)
Blends of (a) a carbonate polymer component and (b) a monovinylidene aromatic copolymer component not containing a grafted rubber polymer component and (c) an inorganic filler component are prepared having improved combinations of processability, resistance to linear thermal expansion and low temperature toughness. Specifically shaped, small particle size fillers (c) are preferably employed which provide the resistance to linear thermal expansion and maintain the impact resistance of the filled blend.

On prépare des mélanges composés de (a) un constituant polymère de carbonate, (b) un constituant copolymère aromatique de monovinylidène ne contenant pas de constituant polymère modifié au caoutchouc et greffé, et (c) un constituant charge de remplissage inorganique présentant des caractéristiques combinées améliorées d'aptitude à la mise en oeuvre, de résistance à la dilatation thermique linéaire et de ténacité à basse température. Des charges de remplissage (c) de forme spécifique et à faible grosseur de particules sont de préférence utilisées afin de conférer la résistance requise à la dilatation thermique linéaire et de maintenir la résistance aux chocs du mélange chargé.
