Abstract

The time and labor required to search a video tape (120) for video signals recorded on the tape (120) and necessary for edition. A display (34) displays the video signals stored in the memory (3) together with time codes, etc., in a specific arrangement.

La présente invention vise à réduire le temps et le travail nécessaires pour rechercher, dans une bande vidéo (120), des signaux vidéo enregistrés sur bande (120) et nécessaires au montage. Un magnétoscope (12) reproduit à partir de la bande vidéo (120) les signaux vidéo et les données à échantillonner représentant notamment le début et la fin d'un plan. Un processeur vidéo (22) compresse les signaux vidéo. A partir des données d'échantillonnage reproduites, un circuit de détection (24) détecte les débuts et fins des scènes ou des parties importantes. Aux moments où le circuit détection (24) détecte les débuts et fins de scènes ou de parties importantes, une mémoire d'échantillonnage (30) échantillonne et mémorise les signaux vidéo compressés par le processeur vidéo (22). Un dispositif d'affichage (34) affiche les signaux vidéo mémorisés dans la mémoire (3) accompagnés des codes horaires notamment, en respectant une présentation spécifique.
