Abstract

A system for three-dimensional display of data using two-dimensionial scans from an MRI apparatus. An optical system (10) uses a lens assembly (14) with the screen of a computer CRT or LCD unit (12), the computer being coupled to an MRI apparatus for receiving data therefrom. Data from the MRI to be presented to the CRT screen is provided as a two-dimensional image rotatable about a selected axis. Light rays from the image pass through the slit of a curtain shutter (28) so that a continuum of views of the image will be projected onto a lenticular film (16). In another embodiment a Ronchi grating (96) is used, with a motor (106) moving either the Ronchi grating or the film transversely of the light rays.

Système d'affichage tridimensionnel de données dans lequel on utilise des images bidimensionnelles de balayage provenant d'un dispositif d'imagerie à résonance magnétique. Un système optique (10) comprend l'utilisation d'un ensemble de lentilles (14) avec l'écran d'une unité (12) informatique à tube cathodique ou à cristaux liquides, laquelle est couplée à un dispositif d'imagerie à résonance magnétique aux fins de réception de données provenant de celui-ci. Ces données qui sont à présenter à l'écran sont fournies sous forme d'une image bidimensionnelle tournant autour d'un axe choisi.
