Abstract

The invention relates to a radar apparatus provided with a transmitting unit (1), antenna unit (2) and a receiver unit (3). The transmitting unit (1) transmits pulses having a modulation for enabling pulse compression on reception. As an ECCM feature the radar apparatus is further provided with a blanking circuit (5). The blanking circuit comprises two filters, one filter being responsive to the first half of the transmitted pulse only, the other filter being responsive to the second half of the transmitted pulse only. Blanking occurs if both filters simultaneously produce an output.

L'invention concerne un radar doté d'une unité d'émission (1), d'une unité antenne (2) ainsi que d'une unité de réception (3). L'unité d'émission (1) transmet des impulsions présentant une modulation permettant la compression des impulsions lors de la réception. A titre de caractéristique anti-contre-mesures, le radar est également doté d'un générateur d'impulsions de suppression (5). Le générateur d'impulsions de suppression comprend deux filtres, un filtre réagissant uniquement à la première moitié de l'impulsion émise, l'autre filtre réagissant uniquement à la seconde moitié de l'impulsion émise. La suppression n'a lieu que si les deux filtres produisent simultanément une sortie.
