Abstract
(EN)
A thermal energy storage system (112) is operable in heating capacity storage and discharge modes and cooling capacity storage and discharge modes for maintaining a temperature in a vehicle compartment. Each mode includes a thermal charging cycle and a thermal discharging cycle. The thermal energy storage system (112) communicates with a vehicle air conditioning system (118) including a compressor (132) and a vehicle coolant system (116) including a vehicle engine (120). The thermal energy storage system (112) comprises a thermal storage apparatus (152) housing thermal energy storage material (155) that stores thermal energy. The thermal storage apparatus (152) is connected to the air conditioning sytem (118) and the coolant system (116) so that a refrigerant or coolant flows through the thermal storage apparatus (152) in heat transfer relationship with the thermal energy storage material (155).

On peut exploiter un système d'accumulation d'énergie thermique (112) en modes d'accumulation et de décharge de puissance calorifique et en modes d'accumulation et de décharge de puissance de refroidissement pour maintenir une certaine température dans l'habitacle d'un véhicule. Chaque mode comprend un cycle de charge thermique et un cycle de décharge thermique. Le système d'accumulation d'énergie thermique (112) communique avec un système de climatisation (118) de véhicule doté d'un compresseur (132) et d'un système de refroidissement (116) comportant un moteur de véhicule (120). Le système d'accumulation d'énergie thermique (112) comporte un appareil d'accumulation thermique (152) renfermant un matériau d'accumulation d'énergie thermique (155). Cet appareil (152) est relié au système de climatisation (118) et au système de refroidissement (116) de sorte qu'un agent réfrigérant ou de refroidissement s'écoule dans l'appareil d'accumulation thermique (152) en relation de transfert de chaleur avec le matériau d'accumulation d'énergie thermique (155).
