Abstract

The invention relates to a ball valve (3) with full opening between two tubes (1, 2) and the manufacturing method thereof. The ends (6, 7) of the tubes are sealed in the valve against the valve ball (5) opening and closing the valve and rotating about its axle (17), the diameters of the flow openings (9, 10) of the valve ball being substantially the same as the diameters of the flow cross sections of the tubes. Around the valve ball and the ends of the tubes there is a sleeve-like casing (8) secured by its ends (15) to the sides of the tubes (1, 2). According to the invention, a protrusion is formed in the ends of both tubes (1, 2), comprising an annular sealing (11), and the casing (8) is formed with a tapered reduction towards its ends so that the valve ball (5) and the ends of the tubes are located in the space (16) defined by the casing (8) of the valve. The valve (3) may be assembled by joining the ends (6, 7) of the tubes and the sealings (11) attached to them to the valve ball and by thereafter pressing the casing (8) against the sides of the tubes and by welding the ends (15) of the casing.

L'invention concerne une vanne (3) à sphère assurant une ouverture totale entre deux conduites (1, 2), ainsi qu'un procédé pour la fabriquer. Les extrémités (6, 7) des conduites sont en contact étanche avec la sphère (5) de la vanne, qui ouvre et ferme la vanne par rotation autour de l'axe (17). Les diamètres des ouvertures (9, 10) pour l'écoulement du fluide de la sphère de la vanne sont sensiblement identiques aux diamètres des conduites dans lesquelles circule le fluide. Autour de la sphère de la vanne et des extrémités des conduites, il y a une gaine (8) en manchon fixée à ses extrémités (15) aux côtés des conduites (1, 2). Selon l'invention, il y a une saillie aux extrémités des deux conduites (1, 2) comprenant un joint d'étanchéité annulaire (11) et la gaine (8) est formée avec des parties qui s'amincissent aux extrémités pour que la sphère (5) de la vanne et les extrémités des conduites se trouvent dans l'espace (16) délimité par la gaine (8) de la vanne. On peut assembler la vanne (3) en pressant les extrémités (6, 7) des conduites, avec les joints d'étanchéité (11) qu'elles portent, contre la sphère de la vanne, puis en pressant la gaine (8) contre les côtés des conduites et finalement en soudant les extrémités (15) de la gaine.
