This invention relates to a brake pad (6) for a vehicle brake, of the type comprising a friction lining (12) intended to mate with a rotary component which is part of the brake, and a support member (11) intended to work with a brake calliper to counteract braking torque. This brake pad (6) is characterised by the fact that the friction lining and the support member (11) are made together in one piece by moulding from essentially the same material.

Cette plaquette (6) de frein, destinée à un frein de véhicule, est du type comprenant une garniture (12) de friction conçue pour s'adapter à un élément rotatif faisant partie du frein, ainsi qu'un élément support (11) conçu pour travailler avec un étrier de frein à disque afin de contrer le couple de freinage. Cette plaquette (6) est caractérisée en ce que la garniture de friction et l'élément support (11) sont fabriqués ensemble, en une seule pièce, par moulage réalisé essentiellement à partir du même matériau.
