Abstract

A method to adjust a drilling apparatus drilling a tunnel into the ground or drilling open a tube line in the ground, which apparatus comprises a rotating drill bit (1), bit rotating equipment (6), a protective tube line (3) to be installed in the tunnel along with drilling, drill waste conveying equipment (4) inside the protective tube line and a pushing power unit (3) to force at least the drilling equipment (1, 2, 4, 5) forward while drilling, and in which method the pushing force of the said pushing unit pushing the drilling equipment from behind is adjusted. While drilling, the rotative moment of drill bit (1) and the drill bit pushing force are sensed, whereat the substantial rise of the rotative moment and/or the substantial increase of the force pushing the drill against the surface that is being drilled steers the drill bit (1) inducing pushing force to back the drill bit or, at least, to stop the forward travel of the drill bit when source (8) of the said pushing force is located behind the complete drilling equipment (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de régler un dispositif de forage utilisé pour creuser un tunnel ou dégager l'intérieur d'un tube placé dans le sol. Ledit appareil comprend un trépan (1), un dispositif (6) servant à entraîner le trépan en rotation, un tube protecteur (3) destiné à être installé dans le tunnel pendant le creusement, un dispositif (4) servant au transport des déchets, situé dans le tube protecteur, et une unité de poussée (3) destinée à exercer sur au moins l'ensemble de creusement (1,2, 4, 5) une force vers l'avant, pendant le creusement. Selon le procédé présenté, la force de poussée de ladite unité de poussée, s'exerçant sur l'ensemble de creusement depuis l'arrière, est réglée. Pendant le creusement, le couple de rotation du trépan (1) et la force de poussée s'exerçant sur celui-ci sont mesurés. Lors d'une augmentation importante du couple de rotation et/ou d'une augmentation importante de la force poussant le trépan contre le terrain creusé, la force produisant une poussée sur le trépan (1) est relachée de façon que celui-ci effectue un mouvement vers l'arrière ou qu'au moins son déplacement vers l'avant soit arrêté lorsque l'élément (8) destiné à produire ladite force de poussée est placé derrière l'ensemble complet de creusement (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).
