Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of treating waste liquor from pulping processes for recovering energy and chemicals from the waste liquor. The purpose is to increase the capacity of the recovery boiler. According to the invention waste liquor is combusted in a recovery boiler (10) for producing molten salts and flue gases and flue gases are divided into at least two streams. One of the streams is passed to the heat exchange surfaces (14, 16, 18) subsequent to the furnace (12) of the recovery boiler and is discharged from the boiler. The other of the gas streams or other gas streams is/are withdrawn from the recovery boiler at (38) or at points which are above the waste liquor injection level, and the withdrawn gas is cooled.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement des lessives épuisées de papeterie, permettant de récupérer de l'énergie et des produits chimiques. Le but est d'augmenter la capacité de la chaudière de récupération. Selon l'invention, on fait brûler la lessive épuisée dans une chaudière de récupération (10) pour produire des sels fondus et des gaz de combustion, qui sont divisés au moins en deux courants. Un de ces courants passe sur des surfaces d'échange de chaleur (14, 16, 18) à la sortie du four (12) de la chaudière de récupération, avant d'être évacué. L'autre courant de gaz ou les autres courants de gaz sont soutirés de la chaudière de récupération en (38) ou au niveau de points qui sont au-dessus du niveau d'injection de la lessive épuisée et le gaz soutiré est refroidi.
