The present invention provides pressure sensitive adhesives, compositions from which the pressure sensitive adhesives are formed, and articles having therein these pressure sensitive adhesives. The pressure sensitive adhesives, which have a Tg of less than about 20 °C, include a poly($g(b)-hydroxyorganoate) or mixture thereof. Preferably, these poly($g(b)-hydroxyorganoate)s include monomeric units of general formula (I), wherein a minor amount (preferably no greater than about 20 mole percent) of the monomeric units have an R group containing 1-3 carbon atoms; and a major amount (preferably at least about 80 mole percent) of the monomeric units have an R group containing 4-30 (preferably 4-20) carbon atoms.

La présente invention concerne des compositions auto-adhésives et des compositions à partir desquelles ces auto-adhésifs sont formés, ainsi que des articles comportant ces auto-adhésifs. Les auto-adhésifs, dont la température de transformation est inférieure à 20 °C, comprennent un poly($g(b)-hydroxyorganoate) ou un mélange de ce dernier. De préférence, ces poly($g(b)-hydroxyorganoate)s comprennent des unités monomères présentant la formule générale (I) où une quantité mineure (de préférence, non supérieure à 20 moles pour cent) des unités monomères comporte un groupe R contenant 1-3 atomes de carbone; et une quantité majeure (de préférence, au moins 80 moles pour cent environ) des unités monomères présente un groupe R contenant 4-30 atomes de carbone (de préférence, 4-20).
