Abstract

Der erfindungsgemäße Blend enthält: (A) 1 bis 99 Gew.-% mindestens eines thermotrop-flüssigkristallinen Polyesters und/oder Polyesteramids und (B) 1 bis 99 Gew.-% mindestens eines Sulfoxidgruppen-enthaltenden Polymers, jeweils bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der $g(S) [(A) + (B)]. Als Komponente (B) werden lineare und/oder verzweigte Polymere mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht Mw im Bereich von 4.000 bis 200.000 eingesetzt, die aus wiederkehrenden Einheiten der Formel [-(F-S)c-(F-SO)d-] zusammengesetzt sind, wobei F unabhängig voneinander für einfache oder über para-, meta- oder orthoverknüpfte Arylensysteme mit 6 bis 18 C-Atomen steht, und vorzugsweise Phenylen, Napthylen oder Biphenylen darstellt, wobei die Summe aus c + d gleich 1 ist, mit der Maßgabe, daß d stets » 0,70 ist. Als Komponente (A) werden thermotrop-flüssigkristalline Polymere mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht Mw im Bereich von 10.000 bis 200.000 g/mol und einer Übergangstemperatur > 250 °C, sowie amorphe thermotrop-flüssigkristalline Polymere mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht Mw von 10.000 bis 200.000 g/mol und einer Glasübergangstemperatur > 160 °C eingesetzt.

The disclosed blend contains (A) 1 to 99 % by weight of at least one thermotropic liquid crystal polyester and/or polyesteramide and (B) 1 to 99 % by weight of at least one sulphoxide group-containing polymer, in relation to the total weight of $g(S) [(A) + (B)]. Linear and/or branched polymers with a mean molecular weight Mw in a range from 4,000 to 200,000 and composed of repeating units having the formula [-(F-S)c-(F-SO)d-] are used as component (B). In the formula, the F stand independently from each other for simple or para-, meta- or ortho-interconnected arylene systems with 6 to 18 C atoms, preferably phenylene, naphtylene or biphenylene, and the sum of c+d equals 1, provided that d be always $m(G) 0.70. Thermotropic liquid crystals polymers with a mean molecular weight Mw in a range from 10,000 to 200,000 g/mol and a transition temperature > 250 °C are used as component (A), as well as amorphous thermotropic liquid crystal polymers with a mean molecular weight Mw from 10 000 to 200 000 g/mol and a glass transition temperature > 160 °C.

Le mélange décrit contient (A) 1 à 99 % en poids d'au moins un polyester et/ou amide de polyester à cristaux liquides thermotropiques et (B) 1 à 99 % en poids d'au moins un polymère contenant des groupes sulphoxide, par rapport au poids total de $g(S) [(A) + (B)]. On utilise comme composant (B) des polymères linéaires et/ou ramifiés avec un poids moléculaire moyen Mw compris entre 4 000 et 200 000 et constitués d'unités récurrentes de la formule [-(F-S)c-(F-SO)d-], dans laquelle les F désignent, indépendamment l'un de l'autre des systèmes arylène simples ou interconnectés en positions para, méta ou ortho, avec 6 à 18 atomes de carbone, de préférence du phénylène, du napthtylène ou du biphénylène, la somme de c + d étant égale à 1, à condition que d soit toujours $m(G) 0,70. Comme composant (A), on utilise des polymères à cristaux liquides thermotropiques ayant un poids moléculaire moyen Mw compris entre 10.000 et 200.000 g/mol et une température de transition supérieure à 250 °C, ainsi que des polymères amorphes à cristaux liquides thermotropiques ayant un poids moléculaire moyen Mw compris entre 10.000 et 200.000 g/mol et une température de transition vitreuse supérieure à 160 °C.
