Abstract
(EN)
An apparatus (10) is provided for producing a glass fiber package (60). The apparatus (10) comprises a heated bushing (12) for supplying streams of molten glass to be drawn into continuous fibers (14), a rotatable member (20) adapted to draw the streams into fibers and to wind the fibers into a package (60), an applicator (30) for applying a size to the fibers (14), and a drying device (41) for contacting and transferring energy in the form of heat to the sized fibers (14) to dry the fibers (14) before they are wound into the package (60).

L'invention concerne un appareil (10) conçu pour produire une bobine de fibre de verre (60). L'appareil (10) comprend une filière chauffée (12) assurant l'alimentation en flux de verre fondu destinés à être étirés pour former des fibres continues (14), un élément rotatif (20) permettant d'étirer lesdits flux de verre fondu et de former des fibres qui sont ensuite enroulées en bobine (60), un applicateur (30) utilisé pour donner une certaine dimension aux fibres (14) et un dispositif de séchage (14) conçu pour mettre de l'énergie en contact avec les fibres aux dimensions (14) et la transférer à ces dernières pour sécher les fibres (14) avant qu'elles soient enroulées en bobine (60).
