Abstract

A docking arrangement for the automatic fuelling of automotive vehicles, primarily cars, where a robot is provided including a robot head that can be moved in relation to the robot and brought to a predetermined position in relation to an adapter (3) by means of a positioning system, the adapter being arranged for fastening to the upper orifice of the fuel-tank pipe (2) of a vehicle, and wherein the robot head includes a tube (5) whose free front end is intended to project out through the robot head (1) to a position down in the fuel-tank pipe when docking is completed, whereafter fuel is delivered through the tube (5). According to the invention the robot head includes a rearward part (13) and a front part (14) as seen generally in its axial direction, wherein the rearward part (13) is attached to the robot and the front part (14) is carried by the rearward part (13) with the aid of a spring (15) which enables the front part (14) to be moved from a rest position towards the rearward part (13) and angled relative to the rearward part; in that the front part (14) has an axially forwardly projecting flange (16) which extends along a lower part (17) of the periphery (18) of the front part; in that the flange (16) has a form such as to fit on the mantle surface (19) of the adapter (3; 39) at a lower part (20) of the adapter periphery (21); and in that when docking the front part (14) with the adapter (3; 39), the flange (16) will lie in abutment with the lower part (20) of the mantle surface (19) of the adapter; and in that the robot thereafter functions to move the rearward part (13) in a direction towards the adapter (3; 39), whereby the front part (14) is angled against the spring force at an angle at which the adapter and the front part will lie in abutment with one another.

Un système de raccordement pour l'approvisionnement automatique en carburant de véhicules automobiles, principalement des voitures, comprend un robot doté d'une tête qui peut être déplacée par rapport à ce dernier et mise dans une position prédéterminée par rapport à un adaptateur (3), grâce à un système de positionnement, l'adaptateur étant conçu pour être fixé à l'orifice supérieur de la conduite (2) du réservoir de carburant du véhicule, et la tête de robot comprenant un tube (5) dont l'extrémité avant libre est destinée à saillir de la tête du robot (1) vers une position en aval de la conduite du réservoir de carburant lorsque le raccordement est effectif, après quoi le carburant est envoyé dans le tube (5). Selon l'invention, la tête de robot comprend une partie arrière (13) et une partie avant (14) lorsqu'on regarde dans la direction axiale, la partie arrière (13) étant fixée au robot et la partie avant (14) étant portée par la partie arrière (13) à l'aide d'un ressort (15) ce qui permet à la partie avant (14) de se déplacer d'une position de repos vers la partie arrière (13) et d'être inclinée par rapport à la partie arrière; la partie avant (14) comprend une bride (16) faisant saillie axialement vers l'avant et s'étendant le long d'une partie inférieure (17) de la périphérie (18) de la partie avant; la bride (16) présente une forme qui lui permet de s'adapter à la surface recouvrante (19) de l'adaptateur (3; 39) au niveau d'une partie inférieure (20) de la périphérie (21) de l'adaptateur; lorsqu'on raccorde la partie avant (14) à l'adaptateur (3; 39), la bride (16) vient contre la partie inférieure (20) de la surface (19) de l'adaptateur; le robot déplace ensuite la partie arrière (13) vers l'adaptateur (3; 39), grâce à quoi la partie avant (14) forme un angle contre la force du ressort, selon lequel l'adaptateur et la partie avant viennent buter l'un contre l'autre.
