Abstract

A liquid container for capturing liquid hazardous materials, the container comprising a bottom (11), preferably circular, and a generally vertical wall (12), preferably annular or conical, attached to the perimeter of the bottom to form a container with a large open top. The bottom and wall are composed of a flexible, liquid impermeable material, preferably a material that is also chemical resistant and wear resistant. The container may further comprise a liner. The top of the wall incorporates a semi-rigid floating member (15) which completely encircles the opening, the floating member being collapsible or foldable for storage. The perimeter of the bottom incorporates a structural member (14) composed of a flexible, resilient material which provides rigidity to the perimeter and acts to spread the bottom to its maximum size. The frame member is collapsible on itself such that the device can be collapsed into a small size. The frame member is self-opening.

Réservoir conçu pour capter des liquides dangereux et comprenant une base (11), de préférence, circulaire et une paroi généralement verticale (12), de préférence, annulaire ou conique, fixée au périmètre de la base, de manière à constituer un réservoir comportant une ouverture supérieure de dimension importante. La base et la paroi sont composées d'un matériau souple et imperméable aux liquides, de préférence, un matériau présentant également une résistance aux produits chimiques et à l'usure. Le réservoir peut, de plus, comporter une doublure. Le sommet de la paroi incorpore un élément flottant quasi rigide (15) encerclant totalement l'ouverture, ledit élément pouvant se replier ou s'affaisser, afin d'être rangé. Le périmètre de la base incorpore un élément de support (14) composé d'un matériau souple et élastique, qui rend ledit périmètre rigide et sert à étaler la base au maximum. Cet élément de support peut se replier sur lui-même, de manière à réduire au maximum la dimension du dispositif et il s'ouvre automatiquement.
