Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Wasserstrahlantrieb für Schiffe, die zum Verkehr auch in flachen Gewässern bestimmt sind. Ein Pumpenrad (3) saugt Wasser in vertikaler Richtung an und ist so beschaufelt, daß das Wasser das Pumpenrad in einer Richtung zwischen vertikal und horizontal verläßt. Das aus dem Strömungskanal des Pumpenrades austretende Wasser gelangt in einen schaufelfreien Ringdiffusor (5), der das vom Pumpenrad geförderte Wasser in eine Druckkammer (23) eintreten läßt, nachdem es gegenüber der Ansaugrichtung um 160°-200° (vorzugsweise 180°) umgelenkt worden ist und nur noch eine geringe Strömungsenergie hat. Das Wasser verläßt schließlich die Druckkammer über Düsen (8), deren Ausströmrichtung festgelegt oder veränderbar ist.

A hydrojet for ships that navigate even in shallow waters has a pump wheel (3) that sucks water in the vertical direction and is provided with blades that let the water flow out of the pump wheel in a direction between vertical and horizontal. The water that leaves the flow channel of the pump wheel reaches a ring-shaped diffuser (5) without blades that guides the water pumped by the pump wheel into a pressure chamber (23), after deviating it by 160° to 200° (preferably 180°) in relation to the suction direction. The deviated water has only a low energy of flow and finally leaves the pressure chamber through nozzles (8) whose discharge direction is fixed or variable.

Une propulsion à jet d'eau pour bateaux destinés à naviguer même en eaux peu profondes comprend une roue de pompage (3) qui aspire l'eau dans le sens vertical et est pourvue d'aubes qui laissent s'écouler l'eau dans une certaine direction, entre la verticale et l'horizontale. L'eau qui sort par le canal d'écoulement de la roue de pompage parvient à un diffuseur annulaire (5) dépourvu d'aubes qui fait pénétrer l'eau refoulée par la roue de pompage dans une chambre de compression (23), après l'avoir déviée de 160° à 200° (de préférence 180°) par rapport à la direction d'aspiration. L'eau ne présente encore qu'une faible énergie d'écoulement et sort finalement de la chambre de compression par des tuyères (8) dont la direction de décharge est fixe ou variable.
