Method and device for controlling tilting angles of motor-driven rearview mirrors (1) of an automobile are disclosed. The control method and device let the rearview mirrors (1) be more reliably regulated regardless of noise and precisely control the tilting angles of the rearview mirrors (1) within a given tilting range, thus to provide convenience in use of the rearview mirrors (1) and to secure a high level of reliability in mirror tilting operation and to provide good rearview angles for a driver. The control device incluces digital detecting means (3) and senses the angles of the rearview mirrors (1) through a digital sensing process, thus to provide a stable circuit scarcely deteriorated by noise.

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de commande des angles d'orientation des rétroviseurs (1) à servomoteur des automobiles. Grâce à ce procédé et ce dispositif de commande, le réglage des rétroviseurs (1) se fait de façon plus fiable sans subir d'interférence sonore, et de façon plus précise en ce qui concerne les angles d'orientation des rétroviseurs (1) dans les limites d'une plage d'angles d'orientation. Il en résulte une plus grande commodité d'emploi des rétroviseurs (1) et une plus grande fiabilité concernant les opérations de man÷uvre, ainsi qu'une qualité de l'orientation du point de vue du conducteur. Le dispositif de commande, qui comporte des détecteurs numériques (3), détecte les angles d'orientation des rétroviseurs grâce à un processus numérique de détection, ce qui fait que le circuit ainsi réalisé présente une stabilité difficilement altérable par les phénomènes de bruit.
