Abstract
(EN)
An electrically energized hand drill (10) that incorporates a hand, wrist and forearm support (50). The drill (10) is ergonomically designed, in combination with the support (50), to reduce incidents of repetitive-use injuries and cumulative-effect traumas. The drill design includes a housing (12) having on its rear side (12B) a substantially vertical handle (34). The handle (34) has a trigger switch (35) that when depressed by the middle finger, a battery power-pack housing (38), located above the upper handle support (30), supplies power to an internal electrical circuit (14) that distributes the power to operate the drill (10). Located on the housing's lower section rear side (12B) is the hand, wrist and forearm support (50).

Une perceuse à main électrique (10) comporte un support (50) pour avant-bras, poignet et main. La perceuse (10), associée au support (50), a une conception ergonomique afin de limiter l'apparition des blessures dues à des utilisations fréquentes et des traumatismes par effets cumulatifs. Ce type de perceuse (10) comprend un corps (12) pourvu sur sa partie arrière (12B) d'une poignée pratiquement verticale (34). Cette poignée (34) est dotée d'un commutateur de mise en route (34) qui, lorsqu'on l'abaisse à l'aide du majeur, envoie une énergie à un circuit électrique interne (14), par l'intermédiaire d'un logement (38) pour piles placé au-dessus du support supérieur (30) de la poignée, ledit circuit répartissant l'énergie pour faire fonctionner la perceuse (10). Le support (50) pour avant-bras, poignet et main est placé sur le côté arrière (12B) de la section inférieure du corps de la perceuse.
