Abstract

Drip chamber head arranged on the upper portion of a drip chamber (3). Blood is supplied to a drip tube (17) via a horizontal hole (19). A sample removal connection (23) cooperates with the drip tube (17). Further connections (24) may be provided on the side of the head. The upper surface of the head is covered by a membrane (8) which rests on several transversely extending ribs (10) so that air can pass from the interior of the head (1) past the ribs (10) and through the membrane (8). The membrane (8) is covered from above by a cap (7) provided with a connection nipple (16) for connection to a pressure sensor for sensing the pressure within the drip chamber (3) (the venous pressure). The cap (7) is affixed to the drip chamber head via a collar (6) which is attached to a flange (13) on the cap (7).

Tête de chambre compte-gouttes disposée dans la partie supérieure d'une chambre compte-goutte (3). Le sang alimente un tube compte-gouttes (17) par l'intermédiaire d'un trou horizontal (19). Un raccordement d'extraction d'échantillon (23) agit de concert avec le tube compte-gouttes (17). D'autres raccordements (24) peuvent être présents sur le côté de la tête. La surface supérieure de la tête est recouverte d'une membrane (8) qui repose sur plusieurs nervures transversales (10), ce qui permet le passage de l'air depuis l'intérieur de la tête (1), le long des nervures (10) et à travers la membrane (8). Cette dernière est recouverte par un capuchon (7) pourvu d'un mamelon de raccordement (16) relié à un capteur de pression qui mesure la pression à l'intérieur de la chambre compte-gouttes (3) (la pression veineuse). Le capuchon (7) est retenu sur la chambre compte-gouttes par l'intermédiaire d'un collier (6) qui est fixé à un rebord (13) du capuchon (7).
