A one-piece conductive connector shell (1) for use in an electrical connector comprises, a flange (5) about an annular, D-shaped projection (10), on each of the two fastening wings (15) comprise a pair of upper latching tabs (30) fixedly assembled to an insulating connector housing (100), a pair of lower grounding tabs (40) adapted to connect the connector shell (1) to a printed circuit board, and a pair of jackscrew mounting apertures (60) on each fastening wing (15), between the upper latching tabs (30) and the lower grounding tabs (40), the apertures (60) comprise a pair of formed tubular projections (62) to bulge out of the plane defined by the fastening wings (15), and cold-formed internal threads to accept a mating jackscrew.

Un capot conducteur monobloc (1) pour connecteur électrique comporte une embase (5) autour d'une partie saillante annulaire en forme de T (10). Chacune des deux protubérances de fixation (15) comporte une paire d'oreilles de verrouillage supérieures (30) solidarisées avec un boîtier isolant (100), une paire de pattes inférieures de mise à la terre (40) conçues pour raccorder le capot de connecteur (1) à une carte de circuits imprimés, et une paire d'ouvertures de fixation de jack à vis (60) ménagées sur chaque protubérance de fixation (15), entre les oreilles de verrouillage supérieures (30) et les pattes inférieures de mise à la terre (40). Ces ouvertures (60) présentent une paire de saillants tubulaires conformés (62) dépassant du plan défini par les protubérances de fixation (15), ainsi que des filets internes formés à froid et destinés à recevoir un jack à vis de connexion.
