Abstract
(EN)
An apparatus (1) for imaging the interior of an object (31) illuminates the object (31) with a source (17, 19) of picosecond collimated x-ray pulses. An array of x-ray detectors (23) senses pulses of compton scattered x-rays from the object (31) and a processor (29) accumulates the data to construct an image of the object by accumulating data from ellipsoidal sections of the object.

Un appareil (1) permettant de visualiser l'intérieur d'un objet (31) illumine ce dernier (31) avec une source (17, 19) d'impulsions de rayons X collimatés de quelques picosecondes. Un réseau de détecteurs (23) de rayons X détecte les impulsions des rayons X dispersés par effet compton renvoyés par l'objet (31) et un processeur (29) accumule les données pour construire une image de l'objet au moyen des données accumulées provenant des parties ellipsoïdales dudit objet.
