Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Ladungsaustausch zwischen einer Vielzahl von in Reihe geschalteten gleichartigen Ernergiespeichern (1), bei dem mindestens ein elektrischer Speicher (2) im Takt wechselnd parallel zu den Energiespeichern (1) zugeschaltet wird. Dabei wird jeder elektrische Speicher (2) aus einem aus den Energiespeichern (1) geladenen kapazitiven Element (2) gebildet. Die kapazitiven Elemente (2) werden in dem genannten Takt parallel zu jeweils einem der gleichartigen Energiespeicher (1) geschaltet, so daß alle gleichartigen Energiespeicher (1) in jedem Taktschritt jeweils einzeln parallel zu einem kapazitiven Element (2) geschaltet sind, wodurch ein direkter Leistungsfluß aus einem in seiner Spannung höheren Speicher (1) in einen Speicher (2) mit niedriger Ladespannung möglich ist. Das Verfahren und die Vorrichtung können für Energiespeicher (1) wie Akkumulatoren als auch für Energiewandler, z.B. in Gestalt von Brennstoffzellen, zum Ladungsausgleich eingesetzt werden.

A process and device are disclosed for allowing a charge exchange among a plurality of energy accumulators (1) of the same type interconnected in series, at least one electric accumulator (2) being cyclically and alternatively connected in parallel to the energy accumulators (1). Each electric accumulator (2) consists of a capacitive element (2) charged by the energy accumulators (1). The capacitive elements (2) are also cyclically connected in parallel each to one of the energy accumulators (1) of the same type, so that during each phase of the cycle all energy accumulators (1) of the same type are individually connected in parallel to a capacitive element (2), establishing a direct power flow from higher voltage accumulators (1) into lower voltage accumulators (2). The process and device may be used for equalising the charge of energy accumulators (1), such as accumulators, and of energy converters, for example fuel cells.

Un procédé et un dispositif permettent à une pluralité d'accumulateurs (1) d'énergie de même type montés en série d'échanger leur charge, au moins un accumulateur électrique (2) étant cycliquement et alternativement connecté en parallèle aux accumulateurs d'énergie (1). Chaque accumulateur électrique (2) est constitué d'un élément capacitif (2) chargé en énergie par les accumulateurs d'énergie (1). Les éléments capacitifs (2) sont eux aussi cycliquement connectés en parallèle aux accumulateurs d'énergie (1), de sorte que tous les accumulateurs d'énergie de même type (1) soient connectés en parallèle pendant chaque phase du cycle chacun à un élément capacitif (2), ce qui permet d'établir un écoulement de puissance des accumulateurs (1) à plus haute tension aux accumulateurs (2) à plus basse tension de charge. Ce procédé et ce dispositif peuvent être utilisés pour égaliser la charge aussi bien d'accumulateurs d'énergie (1), tels que des accumulateurs, que de convertisseurs d'énergie, par exemple des cellules électrochimiques.
