Abstract

A long-range sensor system, particularly for heavy torpedoes, comprising a group of high and medium frequency sensors (2) disposed on the forward part of the torpedo (1) and an additional group of low frequency sensors (3) distributed along the sides of the torpedo, thus increasing the useful range and acquisition capability with respect to the counteracquisition capability of the target ship.

Ce système de capteur à longue portée, destiné notamment à des torpilles lourdes, comprend un groupe de capteurs (2) à haute et moyenne fréquence, placés sur la partie avant de la torpille (1), ainsi qu'un groupe supplémentaire de capteurs (3) à basse fréquence répartis le long des côtés de la torpille, ce qui augmente ainsi la portée utile et la capacité de localisation par rapport à la capacité de contre localisation du bateau cible.
