Abstract
(EN)
A turboalternator and an air flow control assembly (300) is mounted on a combustion air intake of an internal combustion engine and includes a body (302) having an inlet and an outlet defining an air flow path; a nozzle carrier (316) in the body defining a plurality of turbine nozzles (356) forming a portion of the air flow path and being spaced arcuately about and generally parallel with a central axis; a bypass passage (348) in the body connecting the inlet and outlet separate from the nozzles; a bypass valve (318) in the bypass passage and a rotor (312) mounted in the body for rotation about the central axis. The rotor drives an electric generator and includes a turbine wheel (372) having blades (374) axially adjacent and radially aligned with the nozzles.
