Abstract
(EN)
A cutting device for making a slot adjacent to a well traversing an underground formation comprises a chain saw arm (15) which carries an endless chain (24) with cutting elements (25). In use the chain (24) is rotated around the arm (15) while the arm (15) is gradually hinged from a longitudinal towards a lateral position relative to the wellbore thereby inducing the cutting elements (25) to cut a slot through the formation (2) and well casing or liner (5), if present.

Un dispositif de coupe pour réaliser une saignée adjacente à un puits traversant une formation souterraine comporte un guide (15) de scie à chaîne portant une chaîne sans fin (24) avec des éléments coupants (25). En service, la chaîne (24) tourne autour du guide (15) tandis que ce dernier est graduellement orienté d'une position longitudinale vers une position latérale par rapport au puits de forage, amenant ainsi les éléments coupants (25) à découper une saignée dans la formation (2) et éventuellement le revêtement de puits (5).
