Abstract

Novel scale and corrosion inhibiting composition for protecting metal surfaces in contact with water. The composition is characterized by comprising a film-forming amine component, an alkalized amine component and an organic polysulfonic component whose molecule comprises at least two units of the structure (Io) in which A is a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group and X is a hydrogen atom, a Na+, K+ or NH4+ cation or a C1-C4 alkyl group. The invention also provides a method for the preparation of said composition.

La présente invention a trait à une nouvelle composition inhibitrice de corrosion et d'entartrage pour protéger les surfaces métalliques d'installations en contact avec de l'eau, ladite composition étant caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend un composant amine filmante, un composant amine alcalinisante et un composant organique polysulfonique comportant dans sa molécule au moins 2 motifs de structure (Io) dans laquelle A représente l'atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle en C1-C4, et X représente l'atome d'hydrogène, un cation Na+, K+ ou NH4+, ou un groupe alkyle en C1-C4. Elle concerne le procédé de préparation de cette composition.
