Abstract

A method for fabricating an individually-adapted in-the-ear hearing aid shell (700) made of radiation-reactive material and a battery compartment therein opposite a top perimeter (740) of shell (700), and for forming an individualized faceplate for the shell (700) which matches the physical characteristics of the user's ear. Fabricating an individually-adapted shell (700) comprises the steps of providing a hollow positive mold of the ear cavity of the hearing aid user, the positive mold being made of molding material and having an opening at the antitragus portion of the mold for providing access to the battery compartment, placing a battery boot (720) coupled to a battery door (710) within the positive mold wherein the battery door is positioned within the opening such that the door is sufficiently flush with the outer surface of the positive mold, and finally, casting a solid mold of the resulting structure, said solid mold being made of radiation-reactive material.

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de fabrication d'une coque (700) de prothèse auditive s'adaptant dans l'oreille à partir d'un matériau réagissant aux radiations, et d'un compartiment pour pile se trouvant face au périmètre supérieur (740) de la coque (700), et à un procédé de formation d'une plaque frontale individualisée, s'adaptant à la coque (700), qui correspond aux caractéristiques physiques de l'oreille de l'utilisateur. Le procédé de fabrication d'une coque (700) individuellement adaptée consiste à obtenir un moule positif creux du conduit auditif d'un utilisateur de prothèse auditive, le moule positif creux étant fabriqué dans un matériau de moulage et comportant une ouverture au niveau de la partie antitragus du moule pour pouvoir accéder au compartiment de la pile, à placer un dispositif de protection (720) de pile raccordé à un couvercle (710) à l'intérieur du moule positif, le couvercle étant positionné dans l'ouverture de sorte qu'il soit bien au même niveau que la surface externe du moule positif, et enfin, à couler un moule dans la structure obtenue, ce moule étant fabriqué dans un matériau réagissant aux radiations.
