Abstract

An apparatus (2) for receiving inputs including ripple signals, input port (9) conditions, clock (11) conditions, and operating on the information contained therein, wherein the apparatus (2) includes: means for receipt of a ripple signal (3, 4, 5, 8, 13, 14) which includes program code for an algorithm; means to convert the signal to digital form (5, 8); micro-controller means (8) which is capable of operating on one or more of a plurality of output ports (9) in a manner which can be selected from a range of programmable options, depending on the information contained in the received inputs; wherein each output port (9) can act as an interface with other peripheral devices. The apparatus (2) can operate a load control device and can be used in an electrical supply network or the electrical network of an industrial, domestic or commercial complex in conjunction with other load control devices.

Dispositif (2) conçu pour recevoir des entrées comprenant des signaux d'ondulation, des états d'accès d'entrée (9), des états d'horloge (11) et fonctionnant d'après les informations contenues dans lesdites entrées. Ce dispositif comprend des moyens de réception d'un signal d'ondulation (3, 4, 5, 8, 13, 14) contenant le code de programme d'un algorithme, des moyens de conversion dudit signal en signal numérique (5, 8), des moyens de microrégulation (8) capables de fonctionner sur une ou plusieurs sorties parmi une pluralité de sorties (9), d'une façon pouvant être sélectionnée à partir d'une plage d'options programmables, en fonction des informations contenues dans les entrées reçues, chaque sortie (9) pouvant servir d'interface avec d'autres dispositifs périphériques. Ce dispositif (9) peut actionner un appareil de régulation de charge et s'utiliser dans un réseau d'alimentation électrique ou dans le réseau électrique d'un complexe industriel, domestique ou commercial en combinaison avec d'autres appareils de régulation de charge.
