Bekannte Vorrichtungen zur Messung der Masse eines strömenden Mediums besitzen ein plattenförmiges Sensorelement, das wenigstens einen Heizwiderstand und wenigstens einen Meßwiderstand aufweist. Zur Kompensation der Temperatur des strömenden Mediums ist auf dem Sensorelement üblicherweise noch ein Mediumtemperaturwiderstand aufgebracht, der jedoch vom Heizwiderstand nachteilig beeinflußt werden kann. Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung (1) besitzt einen außerhalb am Gehäuse (15) der Vorrichtung (1) angebrachten Mediumtemperaturwiderstand (86), um durch einen räumlichen Abstand zum Sensorelement (25) ohne thermische Beeinflussung die Temperatur des strömenden Mediums anzunehmen, so daß die Vorrichtung (1) eine erhöhte Meßgenauigkeit und verkürzte Ansprechzeit aufweist. Die Vorrichtung ist zur Messung der Masse eines strömenden Mediums, insbesondere zur Messung der Ansaugluftmasse von Brennkraftmaschinen, vorgesehen.

Prior art devices for measuring the quantity of a flowing medium have a plate-like sensor unit having at least one heating element and at least one measuring resistor. In order to compensate for the temperature of the flowing medium, it is usual to fit to the sensor unit a medium-temperature resistor which, however, can be adversely affected by the heating element. The device (1) of the invention has a medium-temperature resistor (86) fitted on the outside of the housing (15) of the device (1) in order to assume the temperature of the flowing medium at a spatial distance from the sensor unit (25) without any thermal influences so that the device (1) exhibits improved accuracy of measurement and a reduced response time. The device is intended to measure the quantity of a flowing medium, especially that of the intake air in internal combustion engines.

Les dispositifs connus servant à mesurer le débit d'un milieu en écoulement comprennent un élément de détection se présentant sous forme de plaque et comportant au moins une résistance de chauffage et au moins une résistance de mesure. Afin de compenser la température du milieu en écoulement, il est en outre prévu sur l'élément de détection une résistance de température moyenne qui peut toutefois être altérée sous l'influence de la résistance de chauffage. Le dispositif (1) réalisé selon l'invention comprend une résistance de température moyenne (86) montée à l'extérieur sur le boîtier (15), qui sert à capter la température du milieu en écoulement, à distance spatiale de l'élément de détection (25), sans influence thermique, afin que le dispositif (1) présente une meilleure précision de mesure et un temps de réponse plus court. Le dispositif sert à mesurer le débit d'un milieu en écoulement, notamment le débit d'air d'aspiration de moteurs à combustion interne.
