A novel flat tubular plastic flutter valve (1) for filling adjacent thin film envelope chambers (4, 4') into which it is peripherally sealed, as for cushioning and protecting items to be shipped within folder-over chambers, and in which the valve is notched to divide from a common external fluid (preferably air) filling inlet (3) into a pair of independent flutter valve outlets (5, 5'') one extending into each of the adjacent chambers (4, 4') and diverging from one another along the notch; the flutter valve preferably having low impedance characteristics imparted by a push-in and withdrawable fluid-filling block (81) and stems (70) that enable ready deflation and re-inflation of the chambers. The valve (1) is also useful with other chamber bladder configurations, including undivided single chambers, among others.

Nouvelle valve à effet de battement en plastique, plate et tubulaire (1), qui sert à remplir des chambres contiguës et à enveloppe mince (4, 4'), sur la circonférence desquelles ladite valve est scellée, ainsi qu'à amortir et à protéger des articles transportés dans des chambres compartimentées. Ladite valve comporte une encoche, afin de la diviser, à partir d'une entrée de remplissage (3) extérieure et commune en fluide (de préférence, de l'air), en une paire de sorties indépendantes (5, 5') s'étendant chacune à l'intérieur de chacune des chambres contiguës (4, 4') et s'écartant l'une de l'autre le long de l'encoche. Elle possède, de préférence, des caractéristiques d'impédance basse qui lui sont conférées par un bloc de remplissage (81) pouvant s'insérer et se retirer, ainsi que par des tiges (70) permettant de dégonfler et de regonfler facilement les chambres. Elle peut également s'utiliser avec d'autres configurations de chambres gonflables, y compris des chambres individuelles non divisées.
