Abstract

Disc brake comprising a caliper (1) fitted around a disc (D), a yoke (2) secured to the vehicle, a cylinder (3) integral with the caliper (1) and closed by a piston, guiding means and two friction pads (41, 42). At least one of the pads (41, 42) includes circular lugs (41a, 42a) inserted into the yoke recesses, forming the guiding means. Each lug is provided with a star-shaped lateral spring (52a), for returning the pad (41, 42) carrying said spring after each brake application.

L'invention, considérée dans sa globalité, concerne un frein à disque comprenant: un étrier (1) chevauchant un disque (D); une chape (2) fixée au véhicule; un cylindre (3) solidaire de l'étrier (1) et fermé par un piston (31); des moyens de guidage; et deux patins de friction (41, 42). L'un au moins des patins (41, 42) présente des oreilles circulaires (41A, 42A) insérées dans des logements respectifs de la chape (2), qui constituent des moyens de guidage, et chaque oreille (41A, 42A) est dotée d'un ressort latéral en forme d'étoile (52A) qui opère, après chaque freinage, un recul du patin (41, 42) qui le porte.
