Abstract

The invention relates to a Soxhlet type asphalt extractor for extracting through a filter (3) asphalt in an asphalt mixture (C) within the filter (3) by condensing a solvent (A), which has evaporated from a flask (1), in a cooler (4) and dripping the solvent in the filter (3). The flask (1) and the filter (3) are covered by a heat insulating casing (51), and are heated and kept warm by heat from a gas burner (2). In order to lower a boiling point of the solvent (A) in the flask (1), pressure in the flask (1), filter (3) and the cooler (4) is reduced by a pressure reducing device (6).

La présente invention concerne un extracteur d'asphalte du type soxhlet permettant d'extraire, à travers un filtre (3), l'asphalte d'un mélange d'asphalte (C) se trouvant dans le filtre (3). Le procédé consiste à condenser dans un refroidisseur (4) un solvant (A) évaporé d'un récipient (1), et à égoutter le solvant dans le filtre (3). Le récipient (1) et le filtre (3) sont recouverts d'une enveloppe d'isolation thermique (51) et sont réchauffés et maintenus à température par un brûleur à gaz (2). Pour abaisser le point d'ébullition du solvant (A) dans le récipient (1), la pression dans ce dernier (1), dans le filtre (3) et dans le refroidisseur (4) est réduite grâce à un dispositif réducteur de pression (6).
