Abstract
(EN)
Methods for inhibiting the attachment of platelets to a site of an injury are provided. The methods involve administering to a subject that has sustained an injury an effective amount of a platelet binding-site agent. Preferred platelet binding-site agents are platelets that are substantially free of platelet substances contained in lysosomes, dense granules or alpha granules.

L'invention concerne des procédés d'inhibition de la fixation de plaquettes sur le site d'une lésion. Lesdits procédés comprennent l'administration à un patient présentant une lésion d'une dose efficace d'un agent de site de liaison des plaquettes. Les agents de site de liaison des plaquettes sont de préférence des plaquettes ne comportant sensiblement pas de substances plaquettaires contenues dans les lysosomes, les granules denses ou les granules alpha.
