Abstract
(EN)
A bone marrow biopsy needle assembly (10) includes an elongated tubular cannula (12) having an axially extending lumen therethrough, and a cannula handle (11) attached to the proximal end of the cannula (12), the cannula handle (11) extending transversely to the axis of the cannula (12) and having a cavity aligned with and open to the proximal end of the cannula (12). The handle (11) is provided with a cover (16) connected to the cannula (12) by means of a living hinge. A stylet (20) having a knob (24) affixed to its proximal end which knob (24) is sized to fit within the cavity with the stylet slidably received within the cannula lumen.
(FR)
