(EN)Device for viewing a field (1) located within a hostile area (H) subjected to strong nuclear radiation from a radiation-protected accessible area (A). The device includes image-capturing means (5-9-13) for forming, within a hostile area, successive images of a plurality of field locations to be observed; at least one transmitting optical fiber (3) with an input side (3a) in the hostile area and an output side (3b) in the accessible area, for carrying the image of each field location from the hostile area to the accessible area; and field image processing means (15) located within the accessible area. The device of the invention is designed for viewing inside hostile environments.
(FR)L'invention concerne un dispositif de visualisation pour observer un champ (1), situé à l'intérieur d'une zone hostile (H) soumise à un fort rayonnement nucléaire, depuis une zone accessible (A) protégée de ce rayonnement. Ce dispositif comporte: des moyens (5-9-13) de prise d'images aptes à former, en zone hostile, des images successives d'une pluralité de points du champ à observer; au moins une fibre optique (3) de transmission ayant une face d'entrée (3a) en zone hostile et une face de sortie (3b) en zone accessible et qui assure le transport de l'image de chaque point du champ depuis la zone hostile jusqu'à la zone accessible; et des moyens de traitement (15) des images du champ, situés en zone accessible. Application à la vision en milieu hostile.
