Abstract

A method of forming a layer (10) is sputtered onto an existing layer (2) in which is formed a hole or trench (3). The sputtered layer (10) builds up around the hole (3) but does not necessarily close it. A body (20) is applied against the layer (10) to force material from the layer (10) into the hole (3) to fill it.

L'invention concerne un procédé de formation d'une couche (10), déposée par pulvérisation cathodique sur une couche existante (2) présentant un trou ou un sillon (3). La couche formée par pulvérisation cathodique s'amoncèle autour du trou (3) sans nécessairement l'obturer. L'appliction d'un corps (20) contre la couche (10) permet de forcer la matière de la couche (10) à passer dans le trou (3) pour le remplir.
