Abstract

The invention relates to a novel thiol modified substrate or article with a noble metal or polymer surface on to which glutathione has been immobilized, said novel product possessing an outstanding combination of biological activities making it possible for e.g., blood contact uses, such as an implant. The product is preferably prepared by chemisorption of the glutathione from an aqueous solution thereof.

La présente invention concerne un nouveau substrat ou article modifié par un thiol. Ce substrat ou cet article comporte un métal noble (ou une surface polymère) sur lequel a été immobilisé un glutathione. Ce nouveau produit associe de façon remarquable des activités biologiques qui le rendent utilisable pour le contact sanguin, comme dans le cas des implants. Ce produit est préparé de préférence par chimisorption de glutathione à partir d'une solution aqueuse de glutathione.
