Ein faseroptischer SPR-Sensor auf der Grundlage der Oberflächenplasmonenresonanz (surface plasmon resonance) besteht aus einer stirnseitig mehrfach abgeschrägten Monomodenfaser mit entsprechenden Beschichtungen. Vorzugsweise ist eine erste Teilfläche verspiegelt, eine zweite mit einer herkömmlichen Detektionsschicht versehen, und der Winkel zwischen den Teilflächen beträgt 30°, 45° oder 90°.

The proposed fibre-optic sensor is based on surface plasmon resonance and consists of a monomode fibre with multiple angled facets at its end face and suitable coatings. A first partial face is preferably metal-coated, a second is provided with a conventional detection layer, and the angle between the two partial surfaces is 30°, 45° or 90°.

L'invention concerne un détecteur à fibre optique fonctionnant selon le principe de la résonance de plasmons superficiels. Ce détecteur comprend une fibre monomode à biseaux multiples du côté frontal, munie de revêtements appropriés. De préférence une première surface partielle est métallisée, une seconde surface partielle est munie d'une couche de détection classique et l'angle formé par les surfaces partielles est égal à 30°, 45° ou 90°.
