Abstract
(EN)
The sealing ring seals between relatively rotating and vibrating machine parts such as parts of an aircraft propeller, and has several sealing lands (3, 5). The shape and configuration of the lands are selected so that natural vibration frequencies of the ring or lands are not vibration frequencies to which the ring is subject in use.

La présente invention concerne un joint torique assurant l'étanchéité entre les parties tournantes et vibrantes d'une machine telles que celles d'une hélice d'avion. Le joint torique présente des bourrelets d'étanchéité (3, 5) dont la forme et la configuration font que les fréquences des vibrations naturelles du joint sont différentes de celles qu'il subit lors de son utilisation.
